ANSWERS

1. How do I order parts?

Call customer service at 1-800-737-5267 or email us at
customerservice@cheyennehomefurnishings.com and we'll be happy to assist you. We will need to know the stock number of the item or the UPC code. Also, we cannot ship to a P.O. Box, please provide an alternative address if you only have a P.O. Box.

2. Which bulb does my lamp use?

The bulb which your lamp requires is printed on a sticker on the inside of your shade or the housing for the bulb. If you are not able to read this, or if the sticker has come off, you can call our customer service number at 1-800-737-5267 or email us at
customerservice@cheyennehomefurnishings.com and we'll be happy to assist you.

3. Can I use a higher watt bulb in my lamp or use a different bulb type?

No, the housing and wiring for your model lamp is explicitly set up for the bulb which is used for your lamp. An excess voltage of a higher watt bulb would put a strain on the housing/wiring, and internal components of your lamp. This would cause a diminished life of your lamp, and may include the danger of fire, as well. Please use the same type of bulb that came with your lamp.

4. How do I assemble my Cheyenne product?

Our products come with a leaflet which marks the parts included with your item, and a detailed explanation of the assembly process. If this leaflet was not included with your item, then please contact the customer service department at 1-800-737-5267 or email us at customerservice@cheyennehomefurnishings.com and we will be happy to send you this information or explain the assembly over the phone.

5. What do I do if I need to return my lamp or other product?

If for some reason you find that your Cheyenne product is not working properly, please call our customer service service department at 1-800-737-5267 or email us at customerservice@cheyennehomefurnishings.com and we will assist you in determining what the problem is with your lamp. If it is determined you need to return your lamp Cheyenne will mail you a prepaid shipping label for you to affix to the box you are shipping your lamp in.

6. What retail stores carry Cheyenne products so I may see them in person?

Cheyenne only sells to a wholesaler or a small business. Our lamps can be found at many of your local retailers, including: Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Shopko, Bed Bath & Beyond, Kirklands, Lamps Plus, Sam's Club, Costco, Hobby Lobby Fingerhut and many others.

7. My lamp is not working correctly, how can I troubleshoot the problem?

Before you consider returning your lamp to the store where you bought it, or sending it to us, please try the following: - Make sure that the bulb is screwed into the socket. Sometimes in shipping it will come loose. - Try a different outlet. In many cases, this will correct the problem. - Try a different bulb. Sometimes a bulb becomes defective or broken in transit.

8. What is the difference between bulb types?

• Incandescent lighting is the most common means of creating light by burning. Both flame and glowing coals give off light, as well as heat. These are examples of incandescence. Incandescent bulbs generate light when electric current heats the filament wire so that it incandesces, or glows. Incandescent lamps provide ambient, task, accent and wall lighting. Incandescent bulbs are the most common light source in residential applications.

• Fluorescent bulbs discharge an electric current (or arc) through a gas. Lightning is a natural form of this phenomena called arc discharge, as is the fluorescent bulb. Fluorescent bulbs generate light when an electric arc excites the gas in the tube. Mercury in the gas causes the phosphor coating of the lamp to glow, which creates white-colored light. Fluorescent lamps require a ballast in order to operate and special lamp holders. Fluorescent bulbs are cool to the touch even when left on for some time.

• Halogen bulbs function similarly to incandescent, but with a few key differences: They're composed of a small, pressurized, bulb inside a larger outer shell. The gas inside this inner bulb is halogen. Halogen light output remains strong, and filaments are constantly being rebuilt, therefore the bulbs last longer; But the key difference, and the quality that makes them useful and unique, is that they emit a whiter, brighter and more easily focused beam of light, similar to natural sun light. However, halogen bulbs burn hotter than standard incandescent bulbs, so care must be taken in their use.

9. How do I clean my lamp?

Use a clean towel and lemon pledge furniture cleaner.

10. I replaced the bulb and the touch switch but the lamp still does not work?

11. How long will it take to receive my order?
