In maintaining our commitment to product safety and customer satisfaction, Cheyenne Industries, Inc. and the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) are announcing a voluntary corrective action plan to repair certain Model GBS57A Milan Vanity Stool benches. The benches covered by the program are ones that used four screws to hold the bench legs to the footring.
If the screws at the footring of Model GBS57A are not properly tightened, the leg of the bench can separate or break and a consumer sitting on the bench can lose balance or fall. This corrective action plan will inform consumers of the importance of properly tightening screws and send a repair kit free of charge to any consumer whos Model GBS57A has broken.
The press release below provides the details of the corrective action plan. Information may also be found on the CPSC website (www.cpsc.gov). Cheyenne is also issuing direct notices to consumers through a point of purchase poster to be displayed in Bed Bath & Beyond stores. Consumers should access this website (www.cheyennehomefurnishings.com) to learn more about the program, and then contact us toll free at 1-800-737-5267. Our customer service staff is trained to determine whether the consumer's bench is involved in this repair program and to fulfill repair kit requests.
The repair program is being undertaken out of an abundance of caution, in order to avoid any future isolated incidents or injury. Cheyenne remains a leader in the industry in its commitment to product quality, customer satisfaction and customer service.

1. How do I know if the vanity bench I have is the GBS57A in the recall? The legs attach to the footring by 4 screws. If there are 8 screws, that unit is not affected.
2. Will the repair kit match my vanity bench? Yes.
3. How long will it take for my parts to be delivered? Approximately 7 days.
4. How will it be shipped? All repair kits will ship via FedEx Ground.
5. Will I receive a tracking number on my shipped kit? It can be provided upon request.
6. Will I pay shipping? No, Cheyenne will pay the shipping.
7. Will I need to sign for my package? No, the carrier will leave it at your door.
8. Is there a warranty on the new parts? We have additional kits if needed.
9. Where is the UPC code? While it's not the primary identification, the UPC is on the underside of the cushion.
10. Are there installation instructions with the kit? Yes.
11. Do I return the entire vanity to Cheyenne Industries? No, simple household tools are all that is needed to complete the repair on your vanity bench.
